A development of the original Turn, replacing the 40mm gun with a short-barrelled 75mm model, the Turn II also sported increased frontal armour, as part of an effort to provide a more capable tank to deal with Soviet threats. While listed by the Hungarians as a ‘heavy’ tank, by the time of its introduction the Turn II was really more akin to the ‘medium’ tanks of other nations, but was still capable of destroying the Russian T-34 at close ranges. The Turn II can be very dangerous when well commanded, and is a great option for Hungarian Armoured Platoons that expect to face enemy tanks!
